Assumed role by dibytes
Daily Shoot – Double your art today. Make a photo of something you’ve made or crafted.
Not life as talented as most of the other Daily Shoot participants, I’m worried my only ‘craft’ is photography. I belong to the Bay Photography Club and we are very proud to be presenting our ""Painting with Light" Exhibit in the galleries of Collingwood’s new library. These are three of the seven photos I have in the exhibit. Printed on canvas, they hang proudly on the library walls
. If you happen to be in Collingwood, stop by the library to see the show. There’s a lot of talent in our club!

Basic tips for pet photography
about 5 months ago - No comments
Most of the pets don’t pose. Cats and dogs have natural beauty and grace. So, it is pretty simpler to take a excellent photograph with the help of natural aspects. But the major challenge is how to exchange a excellent assumed role into a splendid one. By following some techniques we can successfully meet the challenges while photographing pets.
All-purpose thoughts
Before starting up with the photography, it is excellent to have some basic thought of pictures for example lighting, location etc. then you can plot the all-purpose structure of the photo, like full length, close-up etc. When the all-purpose structure and the thought have been set and the astonishing expressions of the animals will together make the complete photographs. You need to have patience if you are looking for a fixed pose. Patience is the key while photographing pets.
Excellent Expressions
One needs to keep in mind the basic expressions of eyes, ears and other body forms. Eyes are the most significant aspect while photographing pets. The only key here to get some splendid photographs is to have some patience and be alert and watchful, you never know at what moment they will give you the expression you are waiting for.
Basic Techniques
As pets are reasonably familiar with their home surroundings so it might be a hard task to click their pictures outdoor as it would be hard to impound the creature in an area. So, it is an valuable step to restrict their area as pets are the most active and curious creatures.
Speed
We need quick shutter speed only in two case first outdoors, where animals are restless and need to be spellbound in any action, second at indoors when the movements are photographed. Indoors action must be photographed with flash unit.
Lights
There are uncommon types of lighting which are unfilled to a photographer: flash, sunlight and also unfilled and artificial lighting. Bright sunlight is considered the best. Dull or hazy sunlight normally compress the feature. While using the flash be aware of the background. The best way to plot the background is according to your subject.
